MARJAN TEEUWEN TRANSFORMS 12 TONS OF DEMOLITION WASTE INTO ART IN HEERLEN

Bart Dirks, de Volkskrant

Five types of system ceiling plate, four types of plasterboard, kitchen cabinets, sills, plinths, steps and chipboard: almost 12 tons of demolition material is processed in Heerlen to 10 meters high pillars. The metamorphosis from waste to artwork is amazing: the columns look almost like travertine, the Italian limestone that gives the National Monument on the Dam, the Sacré-Cœur and the Colosseum their characteristic color.
