Bruce Silverstein Gallery is pleased to present at Paris Photo an exhibition inspired by one of the cornerstones of modern art, F. Holland Day’s seminal work, The Seven Words. Created in 1898, this groundbreaking piece features seven platinum prints in sequence housed within the original custom lacquered frame. The critical importance of this historic work as a landmark expression of performance art in photography is underscored by its presentation alongside celebrated examples of modern and contemporary art.
